Melbourne's Slippery Summer Time
Move over Queensland, Melbourne has come alive this summer with our very own water-based fun and activities. It’s water slides galore, kicking off at Fed Square with the city’s longest waterslide, racecourses transformed with inflatable pop-up ventures and theme parks overhauled. Yep! Melbourne has officially thrown down the splash gauntlet by giving the locals a huge variety of exhilarating water adventures.
Admittedly, they may not be as grand as Seaworld. No, you won't see polar bears swimming gracefully underwater, climbing outcrops, fallen trees, shrubs and any other obstacle strategically placed in their way. No Dolphins swimming and dancing in unison. Fairy Penguins are absolutely gorgeous - but we have our own colony doing their own jig down at Phillip Island and even locally at St Kilda Pier.
Wet'n'Wild I hear you scream! Well I agree, it does earn the moniker of being one of Australia finest water parks… That theme park is amazingly fun.
With the excitement of Melbourne’s huge splash out adventures this summer, our family has decided during the school holidays to chill out & stay local and trek Melbourne’s waterpark delights I’ll keep you posted on our adventures. Woo Hoo!
